Contact FontClip

One person builds and maintains this site, so messages go straight to someone who can act on them. Compatibility reports are especially useful — platform support changes without announcement, and a note from a real device is better data than any test suite.

Get in Touch

Fill in the form and it comes through to the inbox below. If you would rather email directly, that works exactly as well — there is no difference in where it lands.

Your details are used only to reply to this message. Nothing is added to a mailing list. See the Privacy Policy.

Direct

Email Instead

Some things are easier to send by email — screenshots of a style rendering wrong, for example, or a longer business enquiry. Use this address for anything at all.

Replies usually go out within a few days. This is a solo project, not a support desk, so a slow reply means a busy week rather than a message ignored.

What Is Worth Writing About

Anything is welcome, but these four make a measurable difference to the site.

A style rendering as boxes

Tell me the style name, the app, and the device or OS version. Empty boxes usually mean a system-font gap on that specific platform — and if it is widespread, the compatibility table needs updating.

A platform that changed

If a style that used to work in an Instagram bio or a Discord username has stopped, that is worth knowing quickly. Platforms change what they accept without announcing it.

A style that is missing

Unicode is finite, so not every request is possible — but if a real block or decoration set is missing here, it can be added. Tell me what you were trying to make.

Something factually wrong

A wrong Unicode block reference, an out-of-date character limit, a compatibility mark that no longer matches reality. Corrections get made and the page gets fixed.

Answers You Might Not Need to Ask For

Three questions come up often enough that the answer is already on the site.

My text shows as empty boxes when I paste it
This is almost always a rendering gap on the device displaying the text, not a fault in the character or in FontClip. The device has no system font covering that Unicode block, so it draws a placeholder box. Switching to a widely supported style — bold, script or small caps — fixes it in most cases. Gothic and heavily decorated styles fail most often. If you can tell me the exact style and platform, that is a useful report rather than a support question.
Can I use the styled text for a business or in ads?
The output is Unicode characters from a public standard, so there is nothing to license from this site. The practical cautions are on the Terms page: some ad platforms reject unusual characters, and search engines and screen readers handle them poorly, so keep anything that must be searchable or read aloud in plain text.
Do you store what I type into the generator?
No. The generator runs entirely in your browser and your text never reaches a server. Your favourites, recent styles and theme choice are held in your own browser storage and are removed when you clear browsing data. Full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
